Thule T2 Hitch Bike Carrier Reviews

Anaheim

This is certainly a great product, but over priced. As much as we hated to spend this much we went with it because it was the only model that would accommodate a girls bike. I'm sure in time I'll get over what we paid for it. I can't imagine it not lasting forever it's so sturdy and well made. It carries the bikes like a charm...steady and without movement. The tilt down feature works beautifully with our mini van as well.

Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Heavy but a good design

Reviewed By Thomas E (Marietta, OH) —5/18/2015 3:21 PM

Had a saris 4 bike porter rack and is good for 2 bikes, but to get 4 on it is really tight. The freedom superclamp is heavy, but once you have it mounted and adjusted to your bikes it is really easy\quick to load. Agree with other reviews that that the lock system is small, but you can use a secondary lock system which is what I do. Bikes do not move at all. A lot of $$$ but feel better after using compared to old rack. Never wrote a review before, but thought this item was worth it.

Swagman Quad Platform Bike Rack Reviews

Well-designed, works great

Reviewed By William S (LOS ALTOS, CA) Reviewed for a 2015 Audi Q5 —4/1/2015 10:55 AM

I recently purchased a new SUV and wanted to move from a roof rack to a hitch-mounted rack to save the effort of lifting bikes on top of the car and the risk of driving into the garage with the bikes still mounted. I researched both the type where the bikes hang and where they rest in tracks, and decided this type is more versatile in supporting a range of adult and children's bikes. This carrier works as well as the pricier brands, is very well-made, and made in the USA as a bonus.
