Almost perfect for what I needed. Easy installation, setup and disassembly. I can do everything without having to climb into the bed of the truck (F-250). I did have to get some shorter bolts from hardware store to allow me to move the bike mounting brackets closer to the outer clamps. The Engineers designed the brackets to fit either the fat or thinner portions of the spreader bar, they just did not include the shorter bolts.

be sure to use the included bolt instead of a standard hitch pin. if you use the bolt (i added a lock washer) the rack feels like a part of the car chassis with no slippage. i mounted mine on a 2011 mustang gt. love it! i plan to extend the vertical arm and use the rack to carry a kayak as well. you can use a small padlock to secure the bike retaining arms to keep the bike safe. you'd need two additional locks as well to lock the hitch pin and the rack where it meets the hitch extension arm.
