Swagman G10 Platform Bike Rack Reviews

Swagman G10 is an Awesome Bike Rack

Reviewed By Jack G (ELIZABETHTOWN, KY) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford Escape —7/14/2016 1:26 PM

I bought this bike rack with high expectations, I was not disappointed. The Swagman G10 Rack is made well & to do the job. I would highly recommend this bike rack to anyone hauling 1 to 2 bikes. I spent less on another bike rack only to be purchasing this rack within 6 months, well worth the extra money.

Swagman Locking Hitch Pin Reviews

Just what I wanted (but almost sent it back)

Reviewed By James W (AVON, IN) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Edge —6/23/2016 10:01 AM

As the title indicates, I am quite happy with the lock....however I almost sent it back as the lock did not seem to work. After I tried it out, I took the lock off and inserted the key in the lock. The locking mechanism snapped shut and I could not get the key out of the lock. I tried and tried....eventually concluding that the lock was broken in some way. Just before I gave up, I decided to push the lock back onto the bolt and VOILA, that allowed me to remove the key. Just be aware of this

Swagman XC 2 Bike Platform Hitch Bike Rack Reviews

great rack

be sure to use the included bolt instead of a standard hitch pin. if you use the bolt (i added a lock washer) the rack feels like a part of the car chassis with no slippage. i mounted mine on a 2011 mustang gt. love it! i plan to extend the vertical arm and use the rack to carry a kayak as well. you can use a small padlock to secure the bike retaining arms to keep the bike safe. you'd need two additional locks as well to lock the hitch pin and the rack where it meets the hitch extension arm.
