Thule Parkway Bike Rack Reviews

Used on RV

main use is on the back of our camper. Recently took a 8 hour trip and bike rack did great. I pitched the Allen bike adaptor from Wal mart fort wife's bike to fit. I have two small girls bikes that I fit on one of the two bars and worked well. It was a good investment. Got to have bikes when camping and easier to put on bike rack then in back of truck.

Thule Bike Carrier

Reviewed By David W (CANTON, MI) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford Fusion —3/24/2015 8:45 PM

Excellent quality as expected with anything Thule makes. Easy to install. The thing that impressed me most was that I ordered two of the bike carriers and the lock sets that came installed in the bike carriers were both keyed the same so one key will work with both bike carriers. Thought I would have to buy a matching lock set, but didn't have to which was great.

Good frame adapter for non-standard top tube bicycles

Reviewed By Alan W (Little Rock, AR) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford Escape —11/13/2014 7:24 AM

Bought this to carry my wife's woman's style bike on a rear mount bike carrier on the back of a small SUV. It looks fine, not that you buy it for appearance, very quick & easy to install & remove. The latches on the opening ends seem stout & good quality. I hate to rate anything 5 stars on quality until I've seen how it holds up over time & use. I wish it had more locking hole adjustments for the sliding extendable main bar. It only has one locking position that is too far out-you can't extend the tube far enough to lock on my wife's bike. That allows the tube & the bike to slide a little L to R unless you bungie it down with a few bungies. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but I think that about most things. It is stout, I don't worry about it failing & dropping the bike.
