Thule Apex Hitch Bike Rack Reviews

First Bike Rack

Reviewed By Michael T (Grand Rapids, MI) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Fusion —4/9/2012 10:20 AM

This is my first Bike rack it is very well built, the instructions lack a lot of detail and require some trial and error. I wish they would give examples on how to load 5 bikes of a variety of shapes. The bikes are very packed when you load 5 bikes. Overall I believe it will work well for my family.

Yakima Ridgeback Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Stable for 4 Bikes!

Reviewed By Johnny H (COLUMBIA, SC) Reviewed for a 2006 Volvo XC90 —8/28/2016 11:56 AM

Installed quickly and effortlessly. The swing open factor is a must and is so easy to use. Simply open the lever and pull down out of the way. For my particular bikes, I had to buy the cross bar adapters, but no worries. I leave my bike rack on at all times and have no trouble with parking, opening the back, etc. this makes loading and unloading a lot easier than my older roof top mount as well. Thanks again Yakima!

Yakima FullTilt Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

High quality, full feature hitch rack

Reviewed By Kevin H (BASKING RIDGE, NJ) Reviewed for a 2013 Lexus RX 350 —8/26/2016 5:25 AM

I was looking for a hitch bike rack and started looking on Craigslist and then for cheaper new options. When I saw the FullTilt with integrated hitch and bike locks and very easy hatch loading it was a no brainer. Very well made, does not rattle or jostle the bikes and very easy to use. Yakima is a top manufacturer and this rack has it all. One note, it is quite heavy so mounting on the car requires some focus and attention, but it is a breeze once the tongue is in the hitch.
