Swagman G10 Platform Bike Rack Reviews

Great Bike Rack

Reviewed By Kevin C (Oakley, CA) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford Escape —2/22/2015 8:06 AM

The bike rack is solid and sturdy. Directions warn against using rack on rough trails, and I can see why. When you come up on a speed bump take your speed down a notch or two, otw the bikes enter that brief weightless period like riding the back of a school bus and land a bit rough. The rack tilt away from the clam door of the Escape makes easy access without removing bikes. It also assist loading inside bike with vertical support up, or put support down load inside bike then swing it up.

The t2: very easy to use and reliable

Reviewed By Greg F (KENTFIELD, CA) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Pilot —3/18/2015 7:55 AM

This rack is so easy to use and to install. I've had other racks but they are tricky to get my family's bikes on them. T2 holds all of our various bikes and easy to load and unload. Highly recommend.

Yakima HoldUp-Great Rack For the Money

Reviewed By Jim L (MAPLE VALLEY, WA) —3/17/2015 10:02 PM

Solid rack, heavy but sign of great quality. One gripe is the pin to place in the hole to help keep it from bouncing up and down is held on by a cheap plastic pin. Rack is easy to load bikes and hit the road, yes you have to screw it in to the receiver(use a socket wrench) but it doesn't take that long to do. This rack is more convenient for the plus 2 add on for four bikes, where as other more expensive racks seemed to be a project to put together and more permanent. Great rack so far!
