Softride Access Dura 4-Bike Rack Reviews

Softride Access Dura 4-Bike Rack is Awesome!

Reviewed By Scott B (Commack, NY) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford Expedition —11/13/2012 5:56 PM

Thanks AutoAnything for another great product and another great deal! The Softride Access Dura 4-Bike Rack is Awesome! It can really hold 4 adult bikes if you position them correctly. This unit is very sturdy with almost no movement with the bikes mounted on it. This unit swings down fairly easily and clears the rear tailgate. Putting it back up with the bikes on it does require a little strength. I shopped around quite a bit, this one has the best quality and best price!

Yakima StickUp Hitch Bike Rack Reviews

An Excellent bike rack no doubt!

Reviewed By Zachary S (Clyde, NC) Reviewed for a 2007 Kia Spectra —5/3/2012 6:51 PM

This is an excellent rack, however it isn't perfect. Though, nothing is. Since this is a review for future buyers, I will try to be brief and get to the point. Pros: -looks great -functions great and easy to use. -very stable -great value for the money Cons: -Can not use standard quick release hitch pin. The tongue is threaded and must use supplied bolt. It is lockable but the lock is sold separate. (common complaint but no deal breaker) -close fit to the bumper( 2007 kia spectra5 with curt hitch) -had to make slight modification to the tire holder. The rack would not fold up without the tire holder pushing into my bumber. solution: I cut about an 1-1/2" of the top with a hack saw. ( holds tire fine, no deal breaker) Over all. Great buy! It has a couple of issues for me but again, NO deal breaker. If you are thinking of getting this rack, don't hesitate and do it. My bike feels very stable in this thing. Great quality.
