Softride Quietride Locking Hitch Pin Reviews

Softride Quietride Locking Hitch Pin (SQLHP)

Reviewed By Bobby D (Cotter, AR) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Ridgeline —7/18/2013 12:26 PM

PROS: SQLHP parts are complete and easy to install. Completely eliminates any wobble in the hitch insert and noise is GONE because the wobble is GONE. CONS: If you need to change to a different height hitch insert, extra time is required to remove all of the locking hitch pin parts from inside the original insert for use with the second hitch insert. ADVICE: Highly recommended to buy one set of SQLHP for each hitch insert you will be using. You will not be sorry with this purchase!

Softride Alumina 3 Bike Rack Reviews

Not cheap, but worth every penny!

Reviewed By Michael L (Kenner, LA) Reviewed for a 2012 Honda Pilot —8/5/2012 7:38 PM

I bought the Softride Alumina 3 bike rack since I wanted to minimize weight while enjoying all the Softride convenience features. Softride definitely has it right! I decided to investigate further the various Softride bike racks after initially ignoring Softride to look at what some might consider bigger name brands. The fact that I can lower the Alumina 3 rack with all three bikes saddled and locked into place, open my tailgate, and push the bikes back up into position where they lock, was a big plus! This is a solid rack, beautiful if you only need to carry 3 bikes. We just took 3 bikes, probably totalling close to 80 pounds, on vacation for a 1600 miles round trip. The rack was solid, didn't vibrate due to the Softride design, held the bike solid with anti-swing cradles, and was 21 pounds lighter than Softride's less expensive 4 bike steel rack. I recommend it highly! Autoanything did a great job of getting the bike rack to me quickly as promised.

Softride Shuttle Pad Truck Tailgate Pad Reviews

Quality construction. Looks like it will work very well.

Reviewed By Matthew P (Charlotte, NC) Reviewed for a 2011 Honda Ridgeline —6/21/2012 8:56 AM

The cool thing is on the Honda Ridgleine, you can swing the tailgate open and just slide the cover over without removing the straps. The front tires do touch the rear bumper still, so I put a strip of clear paint protection film there to prevent scuffing the paint.
