The roof rack is very nice. Be careful to lock your know, otherwise it gets loose and you will have to buy replacement

Secure and stable. I've transported my bikes for well over 100 miles now (had it for about 2 weeks), nothing feels loose or flimsy. Well worth the price. The only suggestion I'd make is to replace the wing nuts on the wheel wells; I replaced mine with the kind that fit on a lawn mower and it feels much better and turns easier for my hands.

I am looking for a new bike rack for 4 bikes. A similar Thule or Yakama rack will cost me around $700. Quad 2+2 cost me about $450 so I decide to take a chance on this one. Another selling point of the Quad 2+2 is I can use it as 2 or converted it to 4 bikes. The box came in weighing 98 lbs, heavy. Solid build right out of the box. Instruction to put the rack together is terrible. I basically put the rack together by looking at the picture on the box. So far the rack works good.
