RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Reviews

Roof Rack Review

Reviewed By Michael K (Atlanta, GA) —3/1/2017 6:54 AM

Good value, especially when comparing prices around the interweb. The rack is well-designed, easy to install, and looks good. I've used it a few times and no issues or complaints so far. I was hoping that I may be able to 'trim' a few inches off the back so that my trunk/hatch could open all the way up. No dice. That's on the Infiniti, not the RockyMounts. I didn't spend enough time up front understanding the need for two locks: one for the rack, one for the bike to the rack.

RockyMounts Truck Bed Track Mount ROCKS!!!

Reviewed By Joe G (Bend, OR) —12/22/2016 11:53 AM

Have used this in both my Nissan Frontier and my Toyota Tundra with the factory bed tracking and this product secures to it quick and easy. Also the only mount I could find that accepts a 15 and 20mm thru axle fork and locks them securely to the truck. Highly recommend this product and the pricing and quick shipping from Autoanything was great!

RockyMounts TomaHawk Roof Bike Rack Reviews

RockyMounts TomaHawk Roof Rack

Reviewed By John F (SANTA FE, NM) Reviewed for a 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class —10/28/2016 10:11 AM

This is a terrific rack. It's really simple to operate and holds my road bike as will as my mountain bike with 27.5 wheels and 3.0 fatties with no modifications. It actually comes with strap extenions for fatter tires, so I don't see the advantage to the Brass Knuckles version unless you want a color other than black. It's a little time consuming to mount, so it's not really meant to be taken off and on regularly.
