CURT Standard Hitch Mounted Bike Racks Reviews

Well built. Nice RACK!

Reviewed By John G (WANTAGH, NY) Reviewed for a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee —5/28/2015 9:01 AM

First I have Curt hitches on my vehicles and have been very happy with them, so when I was looking for a bike rack and saw Curt made one, I took a look... It has all the features of more expensive racks. It shipped and was received in a couple days, nothing to do with the rack, assembled in minutes and is built as well as I expected it to be. Used it four times in the first week I have it and have no complaints. Defiantly happy with my purchase.

Best Bike Rack EVER!

Reviewed By Kelly N (Maumee, OH) Reviewed for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee —9/10/2014 5:04 PM

This is the second cycleglide I have purchased. When we sold our first home the new owners wanted it left and paid us to leave it installed. It holds a variety of bikes; even my recumbant trike fits on it. You do need some strength and height to life the bikes up, but once there they move and are easy to stow. Works like a champ!

Not Bad But Design Could Be Improved

Reviewed By Thomas P (FORT LAUDERDALE, FL) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —6/24/2014 5:39 PM

I have a 98 Grand Cherokee with a 2inch hitch. My wife and I wanted a bike rack that was inexpensive and easy to use. This fit the bill quite well. Putting bikes on and taking them off couldn't be simpler. Those other bike racks that utilize straps and hang off a car's trunk are a major pain in the ass. The rack is sturdy enough for two bikes, but because it's a collapsible design, some of the rigidity was sacrificed for convenience. Still pretty sturdy. Would recommend overall.
