Saris Freedom Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

good rack

Reviewed By Jack F (Live Oak, FL) Reviewed for a 2015 Kia Soul —3/11/2016 8:38 PM

We are in our late 60's. Still like to ride bikes. Where we live is to hilly. So we needed a rack for the back of the car to get us to places we can ride. This works great. We don't have to lift the bikes to high and it holds the bikes tight. Only used it once so far. But it did a fantastic job.Our bikes are Day6 bikes.Semi-recumbant. The rack adjusts perfectly.

Great Rack, STUPID EASY, WELL MADE, nothing cheap here!

Glad i picked this rack! They don't sell it as or make any claims about this being any more secure than other racks, but after using it I can't see any way for anyone to steal the bike or a wheel! The loops appear to prevent that. IMHO. As far as going in a restaurant and leaving your bikes out of sight i personally don't worry. Between the lockable loops and the cable that locks into the cam and the lock on the hitch pin. IMHO. Heavy, an aluminum version would be perfection!!!!

Yakima Ridgeback Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Ready to go

Yakama Ridgeback 5 bike carrier substantially built. Like zip ties. Carrier does bounce a bit with a few bikes, appears to be ok though. While around 50 lbs manageable putting on and off. Get Yakama hand cuff lock to integrate with carrier.
