RockyMounts LoBall Fork Mount Bike Rack Reviews

PRODUCT WORKS GREAT!

Reviewed By David S (Santa Cruz, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Nissan Frontier —4/6/2016 11:50 PM

Bought two mounts, which fit easily into my Nissan cross-bed channel. Bike fork dropped in effortlessly and the clamp lever is easy to adjust tight. Rocky Mounts even sent me matched, single key lock-sets! I took a week-long trip of 800 paved and 40 bumpy, rocking, gravel road miles. No problems with the bikes staying very secure on the mounts at all times. Optionally, could drill sidewall portholes for a pair of mid-line screws as a crosswise mount to the longitudinal floor channels.

Advantage SportsRack Truck Bed Bike Rack Reviews

Know the largest wheelsize of your bikes

Reviewed By James M (Gulf Breeze, FL) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma —4/10/2018 9:25 AM

Firstly, great service and price from AutoAnything. I neglected to read the description fully and this rack does NOT properly fit bike wheels that are 700c (29"). Two of the three bikes I have that were going to utilize this rack do not fit all the way into the slot. Another thing to keep in mind is the wheel wells of the truck. My 2016 Tacoma is too narrow in the front of the bed to accommodate this rack.

Yakima CrashPad Truck Tailgate Bike Pad Reviews

Yakima Crashpad serves the purpose but...

Reviewed By Todd J (JOHNSTON, IA) Reviewed for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma —2/27/2018 9:31 PM

As a tailgate pad to support your bike and protect your tailgate, the pad works fine. I have found that it supports 2 bikes better than one. If only one bike, the bike will eventually tip and not remain upright. The main drawback with the pad is that the flap for the tailgate handle does not like up with the handle on my truck (Toyota Tacoma) and it completely blocks the backup camera. Which means the pad cannot be secured to the tailgate and can only be used intermittently.
