Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Great bike carrier

Reviewed By Charlie L (Prior Lake, MN) Reviewed for a 2008 Pontiac G6 —6/5/2014 6:23 AM

Saris freedome superclamp is super easy to use. Takes seconds to load bikes bike are very secure and don't move at all. Its nice to have an integral bike lock, not the most heavy duty lock. But works good. Plenty on room between bike and vehicle. I love this bike carrier.

Assembly of Yakima Stickup Bike Rack

Reviewed By Richard W (Huntsville, AL) Reviewed for a 2009 Pontiac G6 —1/27/2009 10:58 AM

Overall, the assembly is very simple, but the instructions are somewhat confusing. It would almost be easier to show an exploded view diagram of the bike rack in final form and assemble from that view. However, the rack is very solid, and loads exceptionally easy, including women's bikes with the curved top rails. A huge improvement over the type of rack that uses the top rail for the attach point. I would highly recommend this rack to anyone looking for a good bike rack that needs to load women's bikes as well. Attaching the Draw-Tite hitch to my HHR was definitely not an easy task. The rear exhaust and muffler must be moved to provide access, and holes must be drilled. I left this part to a local shop to do the installation. Overall, I am very pleased with the hitch though, as it is mostly hidden from view.

Wobbles a bit but carried a heavy free ride full suspension mountain bike through windy mountain roads just fine. Wobbles a bit but after 3 long pot hole windy trips over 100 miles it has my trust.
