Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Reviews

This rack is great!

Reviewed By Jamee N (LAFAYETTE, LA) Reviewed for a 2009 Pontiac Vibe —10/21/2013 6:13 AM

I've borrowed a swagman rack from a friend before, it pales in comparison to the Thule 990XT. When tightened properly, this rack is much more stable than any other rack I've used before. The locking hitch pin and arms are also a really great addition so you can rest assured that everything is secure while traveling. After a little over a week of driving around with the rack on the back of my car I noticed the hitch pin needed to be tightened up, but other than that I have no complaints

Bike rack is simple to assemble and Install, but your information about the installation does not say it bolts to the receiver with a metric thread bolt .That only matters if you also get the cable lock that comes with a 1/2-13 american standard bolt. I'm using on the back of a 5th whl RV.

Softride Shuttle Pad Truck Tailgate Pad Reviews

Chevy Colorado 2016

Reviewed By Robert K (Huntley, IL) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —1/31/2016 6:32 AM

I bought this Shuttle pad for my 2016 Colorado. I was hoping to not have to purchase anther bike rack. It sat in my garage for about a week before I unpacked it. Being January in Illinois, it was quite stiff. I brought it inside and let it flatten out. The instructions are vague. But it is quite simple. However I think it might be better to have the attachment straps reversed so the drop down the backside of the tailgate instead of trying to seed them upwards.
