I purchased a Curt Bike Rack so that we can carry two mountain bikes on the back of our 2008 Rav 4 (4 inch trailer mount). We had already purchased two different, much more expensive racks from a local, well known outdoor center. Neither fit the Rav well and would bang the spare tire going over any bump. The Curt rack was easy to assemble and easy to install. I don't think you can beat it for the price. Recognize, the Rav is very low to the ground so we still need to be careful not to drag tires going over dips and curbs. That said, definitely a good investment.

I really wanted a future proof rack and thats what I got with the Softride Access. I had it assemble in five minutes, on the car without any worries in another five. The hinged access / drop down is awesome and is proving to be invaluable when the kids have fogotten to get something from the car. When its not being used, the top struts remove in seconds. Even my neighbor who is a serious cyclist is going to get this model now that he has seen mine! All in all this rack is 1st class, easy to operate, easy to instal and I would certainly reccomend it to anyone.
