Very Good Product

I purchased the Swagman because I did not want to drill into my new truck. The Swagman holds my two road bike perfectly and I am very pleased with the fit and the ease to install.

love it!

Reviewed By John P (Wellsville, NY) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Camry —6/24/2011 4:38 PM

The bike rack came in a day earlier than expected, in good condition. The instructions were clear and it was very easy to install. It is simple to get the bikes on and off, and the rack is extremely stable, especially over bumpy New York State roads....the bikes don't appear to move at all! We are very pleased with the product!

Yakima SpareJoe Bike Rack Reviews

SpareJoe on RAV4

Reviewed By Gary W (Sequim, WA) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota RAV4 —9/12/2008 8:55 AM

I purchased this rack for my 2007 Toyota Rav4 based on Yakima's product selection guide. The guide said this product would work on my car, but my tire size was larger than their specification. I took a chance and ordered the product. This unit is designed for 15" tires, mine are 17", but I was still able to make it work. The lower arm of the rack did not rest against the bottom of the tire. It hit the rim of the tire. I purchased some 7/8" inside diameter rubber pipe insulation from Home Depot and cut it to length. I attached it to the bottom of the lower arm, and the rack works great. The instructions say it's very easy to adjust the support arms with the rack mounted. This is not true. Once you set the arms, don't try to adjust them with the rack mounted. The rack is very easy to remove and reinstall.
