Swagman Upright Roof Bike Rack Reviews

Excellent Product

Reviewed By Andrew H (Flagler Beach, FL) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota 4Runner —7/31/2014 6:57 AM

I purchased three of the swagman upright bike racks for a 4000 mile road trip with my family. The racks were subperb. Little yo no modifications needed. If you have fat down tubes you may need to remove the red padinside to acomidate the lager diameter opening. Before installing on roof tack make sure you style bike is on the track where you need it. This product worked flawlessly through the entire trip. Did lose one of the end caps but does not effect the function of the rack.

Works as advertised

Reviewed By Gregory M (Ventura, CA) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota 4Runner —3/31/2014 8:24 AM

Was looking for something to allow me to clean my windows and access the top of my truck and camper shell including accessing my installed windoors on my shell. The HitchMate TireStep solved all my concerns. I can now easily reach all my "hard to reach" places with ease now on my raised Toyota Tundra which has a 6" Procomp Stage I lift and 35X12.5X18 tires. The HitchMate TireStep also fits around my tires easily and effortlessless. Thanks for producing such a item at a very economical price. I'm very pleased!

Swagman Standard Roof Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Great buy for the money

Reviewed By Michael K (Bailey, CO) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek —3/29/2015 10:17 AM

Used for HT mtn bike on a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. Installation was easy. Construction seems pretty solid so far. Holds the bike tight on fast, curvy mountain roads. The only drawback I found was the knobs that hold the u-bolts to the crossbars could back off under enough vibration. I added lock nuts on top of the knobs so small problem solved. It never happened, I just saw it as a possible issue and headed it off so it might not even be an issue.
