Thule T2 Hitch Bike Carrier Reviews

Nice Rack!

Reviewed By Ben G (Normandy Park, WA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota 4Runner —5/16/2012 7:56 AM

Pros: 1) Thule can adjust each tray side to side. This gives the ability to customize for saddle/handlebar clearance. 2) For 4th generation 4Runner (2003-2010), has plenty of clearance for the liftgate when bikes are tilted back. Yakima did not appear to have enough clearance. 3) When folded down with bikes on it, has plenty of room to walk between the bike trays and the rear of the rig. 4) T2 is simply a continuation of the old Sportworks rack. 'Nuff said. Cons: None

Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack Reviews

Yakima Holdup Bike Rack (2 bikes)

Reviewed By Betsy M (ISSAQUAH, WA) —12/21/2014 8:39 AM

100% pleased with this bike rack. I have an older version of this rack and gave this one as a Christma present. Installation was easy, all the parts were there, and the upgrades to the rack look and work great. Now I want to get the newer rack!! Also very pleased with the service and delivery from this company. Rack arrived within a couple of days, just like promised, and the price was the best I found, by a significant amount.

Swagman Quad Platform Bike Rack Reviews

Swagman Quad 2+2

Reviewed By Johnny C (PALO ALTO, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Xterra —10/25/2014 11:26 AM

I am looking for a new bike rack for 4 bikes. A similar Thule or Yakama rack will cost me around $700. Quad 2+2 cost me about $450 so I decide to take a chance on this one. Another selling point of the Quad 2+2 is I can use it as 2 or converted it to 4 bikes. The box came in weighing 98 lbs, heavy. Solid build right out of the box. Instruction to put the rack together is terrible. I basically put the rack together by looking at the picture on the box. So far the rack works good.
