Swagman Upright Roof Bike Rack Reviews

Great product at a great price

I was a little skeptical when I first looked at this rack. But after reading the reviews, I went with it. I'm glad I did! It was half the price of the better brand racks and worked great! We just got back from a trip up to Maine. We drove from Pittsburgh to Bar Harbor with our bikes in our brand new racks and didn't have any issues at all. The bikes seemed sturdy and secure. In fact, my husband had a little trouble getting the bike out of the rack at first. Glad I went with these over the Thule brand (we have a Thule roof rack). You won't be sorry with this purchase and you'll save some money!

Swagman Grid Lock Trunk Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Very good product

Reviewed By Dave C (ROCHESTER, IN) Reviewed for a 2013 Mazda 3 —5/23/2017 6:10 AM

I used this rack several times with two bikes on it and it worked very well. The rack seems to be very strong, and if there is a capacity limit, it will be in the strength of the car's sheet metal- not the Swagman rack.

Swagman Chinook Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Very Good, not quite perfect.

Reviewed By Roger K (GIBSONIA, PA) —5/22/2017 9:50 AM

So far so solid. It's a little heavy when carrying from its spot on the wall to a vehicle, but that is also why it is solid. While the two hook keys are the same, the key for the hitch lock is different. It would be better if they were all the same, so only one key would be needed. Would also like to see a welded loop on the base for a cable lock, considering someone can take your locked bikes with a wrench, buy removing the two bolts that connect the cross and vertical members.
