Surco OSI Receiver Slide Over Bike Rack Reviews

The carrier would not slide onto my towing bar without grinding the square corners off the towing bar. Not a huge process but why must the carrier have round corners inside the slide-over? Also the two nuts under the screw tighteners need to be loosened about 1/2 inch to make the top plate easier to remove. I haven't put 4 bikes on mine yet but it will be crowded. It also moves back and forth a lot when driving. Perhaps the accessory to tighten the towing bar will help.

Surco OSI Folding 3 Bike Rack Reviews

Reviewed by Elvern O (Crystal Beach, FL) Reviewed for a 1999 Dodge Durango — 2007-07-20 17:52:59

I didn't need a bike rack that will be using more than four times a year. This bike rack is excellent for the price. I have used four other racks and this one is the lightest, nearly easiest to use, of all of them. I feel the bikes are far more secure than with the rubber/plastic straps most use. Ihad the straps break several times and cannot be easily replaced, especally when in the mountains on vacation.
