For the money, it cannot be beat for a stand up hitch rack. Took about 15 minutes to assemble and it fits my 4runner well. Once you have the wheel trays in place for your bike, securing the bike to the rack literally takes about 3-4 seconds. Parts seem quality but time will tell. Bike rides great with minimal wobble. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there is no way to lock the rack to the vehicle, or the bike to the rack without using a typical cable lock.

Installed easily, it feels very solid when mounted. I've used it to transport a heavier park bike (specialized big hit) as well as an all mountain bike (c-dale prophet). I've only transported one bike at a time so far, but have no doubt about the capability to carry both at once. It has mostly been used to get to local trails, but has taken the heavier spesh on a 140+ mile test run (my normal work commute). The rack looked and felt solid during and after the drive.

This is a nice rack. It is great if you do not want to have the high lift that is required by most other racks. My wife has a very heavy bike and could not load on most other racks. This one works great. The release is a little hard on the thumb if you do not have strong hands.

We were looking for something we could haul our bikes along on the RV. After looking at several different styles we found the Swagman. Wow is this ever easy to use. No need to remove a wheel. Easy on and easy off. Takes less than 5 minutes to load up the bikes. Thank you Swagman for making such a user friendly device.
