I have not installed my rack yet but my friend has the same rack and we love it. That is the reason I bought this rack. We haul our bikes in our Subaru Bajas and it works just great. It was easily adapted to fit the smaller bed. We looked at many different types ond this was by far the best and with the reasonable price, it was more sensible to buy this one than to build one of the homemade ones.

I really like the idea that you do not have to take wheel off to haul your bike.best idea I seen or researched on the internet. Simple to install, the bike is very secure and gives you plenty of space in the rest of the bed of truck. Great locking system for the bike and rack.I now can haul my bike and kayak in the truck bed at the same time.

I've only used the tailgate pad once so far, but was very pleased. I transported 3 bicycles to a bike shop for spring maintenance. I did have to remove the front tires because I didn't like the pressure the tailgate of the Ridgeline put on the front tire. I was worried that it would make the front tire go out of round. Other than that, the pad was easy to install and remove from the tailgate - I didn't want to leave it on for fear of theft. I should be able to transport 5 bicycles easily - don't know if I would be able to get the 6th one in or not due to the shorter truck bed. I am hoping the pad is durable and will last, but only time will tell on that. Overall, I am very pleased! For the price, it was a good choice for my needs.

The day after I received the bike rack, I used it to transport a bicycle from SW Virginia to Washington D.C. The rack worked perfectly. It fit my Toyota Tacoma just right and held the bicycle in perfect condition for the entire trip. I am looking forward to being able to next transporting two bicycles to a nearby trail where I can enjoy the cycling.This is a great product and I recommend it highly to anyone who needs a rack for a pickup truck that does not involve drilling holes into the bed of the truck.

It is very nice I am able to handle by myself which is what I needed.
