Yakima Bike Racks Reviews

We use this rack several times each week and it works wonderfully. I was a little concerned about it at first as it wiggled more than I liked. We tightened up the bolts and that helped quite a bit. We really like how we can fold the rack down out of the way to access the back, as well as how we can fold down the arms. I also like that we will be able to use this rack on my car with it's 1-1/4" receiver and on our truck with it's 2" receiver.We've never have had a problem with this rack and we would highly recommend it!

The bike rack arrived quickly and in good condition, as promised. Assembly was easy. I have only used the unit twice so it's difficult to evaluate how it will hold up long term, but it seems to be well made, and there are no problems at this point. I bought the unit to use with an older model Yakima ski/snowboard rack and it is working very well so far. The skis and snowboards stay where you put them and the entire assembly does not rattle or move around too much. I am currently using this rack on the back of my Dodge Caravan, but I like the fact that I can easily move it to any other vehicle with a 2" receiver hitch. I would recommend this product to others.

I wanted a rack that was easy for me to use by myself. It is very easy to put on the vehicle and very easy to put the bike(s) on as well. It takes literally less than 5 minutes to have the bikes on and ready to go. Once the bolt is tightened in the receiver hitch it does not bounce around. The bikes feel very sturdy and don't move around at all. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a good quality, easy to use bike rack. It is very heavy duty and doesn't feel cheap in the least! Way to go Yakima, this is an excellent rack!

Works. $50 seems steep for what it is. It does integrate well and if need to lock your bike, there aren't many options.Works well.

This bike rack goes on easy and is adjustable. For two bikes it works well.
