After reading other reviews I was prepared for issues with the installation. I used hex head 1/4" bolts and nuts to make it easier to snug them down by hand, still having to tape the nut and washer to a wrench. A clip-nut should have been included. I also put a slight outward bend into bracket so the top of the grill angled forward to match the bumper giving a very clean and professional look. I purchased the black grill which perfectly matches the factory black Z-71 grill on my 3500 HD.
