"The grill looks nice and was machined to fit very well. The materials themselves (grill and mounting hardware) are slightly cheaper-quality than I expected; the grill is thin and the mounting bolts fasten through the front of the grill instead of hidden in the back."

"I Love it! But! We had to remove the top plastic silver off the original grille. I think we are going to remove the other plastic silver piece and the original grille and paint behind the putco grille black. It will probably look perfect that way."

"When I received the grill I wasn't sure if I would like it, or if would fit. The grill had a protective coating on it, I thought I ordered the wrong grill for YUKON. But after I took off the coating, and installed it. It was shined just like the factory grill. My opinion, IT'S GREAT."

Not so quite Denali Grille

"It looks nice, but....The grille still needs more holes to be an actual replica of the Denali grille. A little bit off on the brackets that hold the grille. Over all it looks pretty good for the price."

"The grill installation was easy. Fit was not as good as I would have liked. The outer edge of grill was not a perfect fit to my stock grill. However the Putco Punch Grille looks great."

1997 GMC PUNCH

"Excited when grille arrived on the night before a trip. Since I had read it only took 15 minutes, decided to do it. Grill looked good, yes some rough edges, but for what it was and cost, workmanship on stamped grill was good. Noticed the hex-head screws in two packs of four each. One pack marked Taiwan. Should have known this was not good. Put four screws through the grill and into the winged nuts. The next four were made tail backwards. Never fear, I would just put the screws into the plastic thread locker first. They would still tighten up I thought. Within a few mm of being tight, the screws popped off and the winged bracket went flying. Could not fix them. Taiwanese junk screws and brackets. Got six to hold. One and a half hours from start to finally quitting. Called Putco on Friday, said they had heard of these before. New screws arrived next wednesday, with a different ugly head. I know why someone wrote they purchased new screws now. I was able to use the first screws with the new good wings. But someone had wrote of the pressure on the plastic grill. Now I know what they meant. Either the screw holes are in the wrong place or the wings need to be wider so they do not put pressure on the plastic grill. Can't expalin more but you will know when you install one. Ended up removing the screws and wings, taking a hammer to flatten them out on one side to avoid pressing the plastic grill which would eventually break it, and then reinstalling. All together about 2.5 hours for a 15 minute job with good quality American made hardware. Someone in design needs to look at the hardware or the screw hole locations. The round hex-head screws look good; the regular hex-head bolts/screws do not. Happy with it now that it is over. Black hardware would have made the fact that it was an insert undetectable."

"This grill looks ok from a distance but from close up it's a little rough around the edges. The cut out portions around the logo are very rough and uneven. The fit is just ok also, nothing great."

"Received the grille quickly. Great buying experience. The grille installed easily (about 15 minutes). The fit and finish is less than perfect, however is more than acceptable for the price. Looks good overall."
