"this product looks good ,but in no way shape or form fit right at all .none of the holes linded up at allin the grille or the bumper inserts.took us 2 hours to fabricate them to fit."

Black CW Billett Grille

"I'm not happy at all with the look or installation of this grille. The bars are too thin and too far apart. I wanted a unique look so I went with black instead of chrome, but from less than 20 feet away you can pretty much see right through the grille to my condenser. Can also see the attaching brackets. This thing looks terrible from anywhere close to my truck. I can't easily put my stock grille back since cutting was required, contrary to what this website said. Would recommend trying another brand to anyone thinking about getting this grille."

Armada Shadow Grille

"I read lots of reviews before purchasing the Carriage Works Billet Grille. There is most definitely a trick to re-installing the upper grille - take each square head plastic insert and put it back onto the grille from the backside while it remains off the vehicle. You will have the entire grille assembly off the truck with all plastic inserts stuck to it. Then, carefully guide the grille back onto the truck, and you will hear each one audibly "click" as you compression push the grille back on. Without that piece of advice, it will take hours to install this. Same challenge for the lower bumper grille - just keep turning the nuts until they come off. The grille itself is very good quality - sturdy. I don't know how another reviewer's got bent. Quality fo the shadow paint is a little suspect, but overall, very sturdy grille, easy install from grille's perspective (it's the Nissan Armada that is the challenge), and in closing, the instructions could definitely be improved. If you have to figure out the install by yourself, have the Internet handy for lookup hints from others."

Bad Return Policy

"I ordered the 3 piece Carrage Billet Grill w/o the Log showing. I received the order in great time. When I put the grill on my '04 Nissan Titan, I wasn't satisfied with the look. I was able to see too much of the Nissan Logo through the billet grill(this is a bolt over grill). When I wanted to exchange it for the grill that shows the logo; I was told that Carriage Works wouldn't exchange it. The reason for not being able to exchange was, "it had been installed on the truck"; this should have been in the Return/Exchange Policy. Keep in mind it had been on the truck for no more than 24hrs and it stayed in the garage over night; then i took it off the next morning. So if you plan on buying from Carriage works make sure you like it, before you install.I went ahead and put the grill on my truck after I removed the Nissan Logo. I had already spent the money and I wasn't going to spend anymore for the other billet grill."

"I purchased the black carriage grill for my '03 Ford Explorer (Silver XLT). Shipping was very quick and was packaged well. The grill looks outstanding, the quality of the grill is great, very rigid and well made. The top grill is very easy to install, the old top grill is removed in a minute then all you have to do is replace it with the carriage grill. The bumper grill is a tighter fit, it is simple enough to install just pay close attention to its alignment during install."

"The installation on my F150 2004 was easy. However once installed it did not look good. The F150 grille is silver honey comb. It really stood out behind the new black billet grille. What to do? I tried painting original grille black. Still looked bad. I wound up cutting out entire grille except what was needed to attach the Billet Black Grille. This turned into a major project. Not worth it"

"I bought this grille for my boyfriends truck, and he loves it. looks great and good quality. It was also fairly simple to install. the only downside is that it makes it kinda hard to open the hood. other than that great product"

poor packaging

"I am pleased with the overall fit and finish , however I was very disappointed in the manner in which the grille was pack for shipping. Upon arrival many of the grille elements were bent and tweaked, enough to take a couple of hours to straighten propoerly. Better and tighter packaging would have saved this problem from occuring. Carriage Works puts a disclaimer on their package, which indicates that this happens often. I would take the time to do the job right ONCE so others do not have resolve the issue."

"THE GRILLE COVER WAS NOT WHAT WHAT DEPICTED IN THE PHOTO ONLINE. IT DOESNT EVEN BEGIN TO COVER THE FACTORY HOMEYCOMB GRILLE. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FORD EMBLEM AND YOU HAVE A COMPLETE VISUAL ON THE FRONT WHERE IT HAS BEEN REMOVED. SHIPPING WAS GREAT RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING DAY...."
