"This grille makes a big difference visually.. The install is tricky though.. Must do a partial remove on the existing grille for bolt access.. Besides that though, I am glad I went with it!! (Bolt Over Grille application)"

"The finish was mared from the factory. The grille does not line up with the opening. The instuctions were to generic,I had to use old hardware."

"One bar came slightly bent, not a real HD grille but by far the best for the money. A great option for the newer honeycomb F-150 to rid yourself of that plastic."

"Grille is perfect, glad I went with the lay in instead of the one that you must cut your existing grille, the lay in type lays completly plush with the grille frame, does not stick out at all"

Carriage Works E-150 Grill

"1994 E-150 Billet Grill. There is a dip in the middle of the grill where it was ground down and buffed to remove a possible dent. The dent shows up in anything but bright sunlight. I also had to make brackets for the bottom to attach to the shell, or it would have rattled. Thank You Perry"

"...However, I've only held it in place, but am sure it will look very good on my red/black '99 Camaro Z28. The reason I'm holding off installing it is that after removing the original black plastic "grille," I find what's underneath is very cool. Chevy should have gone with what's underneath rather than the solid black plastic. I tried unsuccessfully to paste a photo here. Incidentally, the stainless steel fender trim (from you) is the best $100 I've invested in my car, which I special-ordered new with white leather 7-1/2 years ago."

"I really like the looks of the grille and it is a SOLID fit. My only contention was the directions. While they were detailed in the explanations, the pictures did not help very much. Too much clutter in the background made it difficult to see the details. After having it on my truck for a week, I removed it to finalize some trimming and sanding of the original frame. Also I found a Dremel to be the best tool for finish sanding and grinding. Perhaps a mention of that would be helpful to others."

"Grille looks good. I’m a smart guy so I figured out the instructions after three days of looking, trying, and finally breaking the code. Pictures are too small and the instructions are unclear. All I have to say is, “the cut must be made right” and get better pictures. Oh, the bars could be closer togeather"

"Excellent quality and look for my 2005 F150.Helpful hints,use a Round File to make your hole-slot adjustments and drill slightly larger clearance holes for the screws at the bottom.The toughest thing is carefully removing the Stock grille. If you're committed to the "Billet",save time snap the plastic Clip tops off !!! Seriously ! The Bumper Grille is a Snap."

"Prior to ordering the Carriage Works Grille, I'd already purchased the lower bumper insert for my F-150. Both were a perfect fit and the quality rivals OEM. Installation for both pieces probably took less than 15 minutes. I'd recommend the product to anybody."

"Grille was mising one of the welded tabs but I was to far into the project to let the new truck frive around with out a grille. The instructions really are correct but very difficult to read. The photos are so small that only those who have installed it would know what they are. Looks thumbs up. Quality just so so. Instruction very poor."
