The grille was engineered very well. Structurally sound with good fit and finish. The instructions could have been a little better. They all made sense AFTER I was done. If needed, I would buy it again. Good shipping, packing, and components' measurements were factory spot-on. Good website, good product and good distribution.

I was looking for a Black Grill for my White Tacoma. So I went with this T-rex billet grille. The appearance of the grille looks smooth and has the perfect shape that I wanted. Installation of this grille wasn't that bad, I used a drimel to cut out the existing grille. But I wish it was an easier install. The only thing I dis-like about this grille is that it is very see through; I wish it had more fans to cover more area. I guess ill have to put drive lights behind the grille now

The grill I bought looks great! Love it. Well worth it. The only probably I have with it is I can still see the stock grill with the outline of the gmc behind it which irritates me so it would be better if a piece of black mesh came with it for behind the new grill that would have been great. Ill have to find some now but other then that. Very happy with it

Well, the instructions weren't very descriptive, but other than that and the risk of messing something up this installation went great. I love my new billet grille, it gives my truck a whole new look!

Does this grille install without having to do any cutting or alterations?? mike
Answered by Michael K. — Mar 19, 2012 7:12 PM
Hi Michael, it depends on the style you choose. The overlay (bolt-on) style goes on quick and easy. The pro-quality replacement grilles (insert) are usually a lot more involved; however, that can vary greatly by vehicle.

Hello Mike. The grille is available in quick overlay (bolt-on) and pro-quality replacement grilles (insert). No cutting should be required. Thank you for your question.

Does the grille come in a black finish?
Answered by Michael K. — Jan 26, 2012 4:31 PM
Hey Greg, these have a semi-gloss black powder coat finish on the back, and a machined aluminum finish on the face.

Hey Greg, sorry for the confusion. The inner/lower part of the grooves are black, the outer part is the aluminum color. So no, you can't reverse it.
