the emblem was a piece of cake to install , took me longer to dig up the 1/4 " drive ratchet and socket it fills the hole left by the original emblem that was only glued in

Nice looking emblem. It was very easy to install and is a quality piece with good weight to it. It doesn't look quite right to me once on the truck. Without the chrome border it makes the emblem look a lot bigger than the original bowtie. Still a nice piece though.

Had to tap the so-called threads on the back of the grille emblem. The milled border could have been cleaned out better before they sprayed it black. The black bow tie looks much better on the chrome truck grille than the factory gold piece.

Extremely easy to install. The only thing I wish they came with is a chrome surround. I bought the black, since I have a black truck. Kind of hard to see a black emblem on a black tailgate.

The description could have been better. The difference between the one with the border and the one without is on the one with the border it has an etched line around the edge of the symbol. I was hoping it would have a chrome border around the whole outside similar to the bowtie on the tailgate. When you take the front one off just get a small screwdriver and push from the backside till it pops off it was the easiest way I could see. They are expensive but then they are solid metal.

The grill emblem looks sick and the hardest part of the installation was just getting the old adhesive off the tailgate. My truck looks insanely tight and this was a great finishing touch.
