"This is my second truck that I have installed a Carriage Works grille on. After 3 years on the first truck it looked as good as it did the day I installed it. The look is second to none and the quality is as well." —Scott T from Tucson, AZ bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Easy install. I painted my existing grill black first and then mounted the grill. Looks great. Good deal." —John W. H from Mesa, AZ bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"THE GRILL WAS EASY TO INSTALL. THE DESCRIPTION DOES NOT INDICATE THE SPACING BETWEEN THE BARS AND THE PICTURE IS MISLEADING. YOU CAN SEE THE OLD GRILL ON THE BOLT OVER STYLE. THE PICTURE IN THE AD DISPLAYS LESS SPACING OF THE GRILL. THE GRILL HAD TO BENT TO NORMAL POSITION ON SOME OF THE BARS, SO I GUESS IT WAS BENT OUT OF SHAPE." —Roberta B from Lutz, FL bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"The Billet grille changed the look of the whole truck, much cleaner looking. No more plastic, thanks" —Glenn K from Deerfield Beach, FL bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"As another reviewer wrote...you can see right through the grille. The Billet bars are much thinner than most grilles I have seen. As the only black grille offered, I am ordering a Ford Logo to install on the grille so it isn't so noticable. I am happy because it isn't a bolt on. Be careful removing old and installing new grille because alot of original ford parts are plastic and can break. All of the new grille parts are metal and strong. Read the instructions several times and walk yourself through them step by step before starting. I am pleased because my truck is blacked out. I am getting the bumper grille next." —Clinton F from Plant City, FL bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"The quality of the product is awesome. It was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. However be prepared to struggle with the installation. I am very handy and have lots of tools at my disposal, but the way the clips need to go on can be a pain in the a##. I tried it 3 different ways before it snapped into place. I recommend hand tightening every bolt and placing the grill before tightening anything. It will save you hours!" —Anthony Z from Clearwater, FL bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Overall Its's A Pretty Good Deal Only Thing I Don't Like About It Is When U Shut Your Hood Be Careful U Will Break Your Factory Grill Shell I Had To Get Another One. But This Grill Is Great For The Money It Made My Truck Stand Out Alot More. Best Grill I Have Bought Yet I Give It 10 Star's" —Stephen S from Switzer, WV bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"It is very easy to see the oem grill through it. After i cut out the old grill it is a whole new animal. Looks awesome." —Brian H from Panama City, FL bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"This is the full replacement grille, not an insert. I like it, looks great, better than an insert. Installation was ok but a bit cumbersome. Steps 17 and 18 don't really work because if you install the two fasteners "finger tight" and then go to step 18 and put the grille on it covers those two fasteners and you can not tighten them like it says to do in step 21. I talked to Carriage Works about this and they agreed that it would not work and they were going to relook at there instrustions. Also, I had to leave my hood bumper stops that are mounted to the bumper loose because they don't have enough adjustment in them to push back and retighten - and they were a bear to try to bend back even on a vise. Alignment of the assembled grille was not too bad. As noted, it takes an hour and half to install. Would I do it again, yes. Looks great." —Peter H from Addison, NY bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2006 Ford F-150.
