TOTAL HASSLE TO INSTALL

Reviewed By Anthony G (Edison, NJ) Reviewed for a 2004 Nissan 350Z —9/11/2009 9:58 PM

Bought the grille even though I thought it was overpriced because I like the look of the diamond pattern, and the black chrome matched my Lemans Sunset Orange 350Z. There was no review from another Z, but all other reviews said the install was easy, which may be true. NOT SO FOR THE Z. Total pain in the ass. I had to remove my entire front bumber to get behind the top of the stock grille to attach the clips. The grille itself doesn't fit perfectly either- it's too long on one side, but I had my bumper off already so I MADE it fit. The clips go on easy at the bottom, but there is no way you will get the top ones on without removing your bumper- plan on at least 2 hours to install. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably consider other options, but it looks damn good!

Super sick!

Reviewed By Cory D (Gilbert, AZ) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Armada —3/28/2017 1:51 PM

Would rate this as moderate in terms of whether a typical do-it-yourselfer would be able to do it, and do it right. Cutting the old grill out requires a meticulous hand saw or in my case I used a circular saw and was very careful. Also of your existing grill is old the stock clips may break or fall out making it hard to resecure the grill once you've put it in place. I used zip ties and then reordered the clips to put in place here in a few days. The look turned out awesome for me.
