Would rate this as moderate in terms of whether a typical do-it-yourselfer would be able to do it, and do it right. Cutting the old grill out requires a meticulous hand saw or in my case I used a circular saw and was very careful. Also of your existing grill is old the stock clips may break or fall out making it hard to resecure the grill once you've put it in place. I used zip ties and then reordered the clips to put in place here in a few days. The look turned out awesome for me.

The grill looks very good on the truck, I got the top and bottom grill. I will say the instructions could be a little better, but if you know anything about cars it will be very easy to figure out. Overall it was a good investment!!!
