The over all appearance of the grill is great, however, the installation is a bit of a pain.I was able to remove all the fasteners EXEPT the tabs from the ABS bumper cover.Who keeps a panel remover tool at home? I found that it was not necessary to pull the grill out entirely. The street scene went on with just a little tweeking. The assembly snapped back in without problem. To put the GMC emblem back took extra work. The street scene holes didn't even come close to lining up on mine. I needed to drill through the stailess steel. To add insult to injury, the retaining clips were too small for the round posts. But now that its done, it looks the way I wanted.

6 of 6 people found this review helpful. I hesitated to purchase this grill because the cost seemed a little excessive, however, I purchased it, the black mesh grill with the exposed chrome rivets. The shipping was fairly quick, I recieved it, and paid to have it installed, I didn't want to cut out the factory grill and have it go poorly myself, and I'm glad I hired it done, the installer said it was difficult. I paid about $75 to a local auto specialist for the install, chose to leave off the Star emblem and the RBP emblem, and it looks amazing. I get compliments on my truck constantly. Go with this grill and you won't be disapointed.
