The product is quality and straight. The thing I don't like about it is the way it's fastened, four screws and double stick tape. This is an HD truck bumper not a car. I hope it stays on. Otherwise the product is quality.

Easy to install but need to use spacers to push the front bumper out between 1/2" to 3/4" to get the valance to line up with the fender well opening. Other than that issue looks good just need to get it painted to match. -Ryan from Minnesota

Any time you're buying a "plastic" product, it's a little tough to swallow that it costs more than $200. However, the product is well designed and is made of a thick "solid" urethane, and includes all necessary hardware and reasonably good directions. A couple of minuses-- first, the wrap-around runs a little long on the passenger side. This is when properly fitted to a factory bumper. The driver side has a good fit on the end, and the center is properly centered on the bumper. It's as if their test bumper was bent slightly on the part that wraps around the side of the vehicle. Second-- stamped conspicuously on one end is a hideous 2" diameter Street Scene logo. This is just plain tacky, and added about 4 hours worth of work and $60 in specialized urethane repair materials for me to eliminate it. If you want to advertise your product, send a sticker with it. Don't emboss your company name smack dab in the middle of a conspicuous visual area. I have no qualms about telling people the product brand and model if they're interested, but I shouldn't be paying to advertise for you. Just plain tacky... and the product almost went back in the box because of it.

This bumper cover is right on. It fit like a glove, and really enhanced the look of my Silverado. My body shop guy said that he's seen a lot of street scene stuff and has yet to have one be bad...great product.

We bought the first one for my son's Dodge Dakota, had a freind of mine paint it (he had the equipment) and we thought it looked pretty good. About 3 weeks ago a young girl deciced that her Ford could beat our Dakota ... She lost but the bumper cover was a victim and was damaged beyound repair. We got her insurance to cover the replacement. The body shop manager said that the one he took off looked like it was made better than some others he had seen. He's the pro! The new cover looks even better because their paint work is much better than my freinds. The Dakota Lives again ! All black quad cab it sure looks nice with the cover.

Are there any other parts needed for installation on a 2006 Chevy Silverado?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jun 08, 2012 10:45 AM
Hello. The Street Scene Front Bumper Covers are usually fully complete with all mounting brackets, and is of high build quality to fit your vehicle. The only thing you may want to add to make the look complete is to add some driving/fog lights to the openings in the lower corners of the bumper cover. You would need to find out the opening dimensions to find the best fitting light to fill that opening. Thank you.
