I had the Ram Air Hood installed by a professional body shop. Although it coast a little more the finished product was worth it. It is a great addition to my 07 Ford Mustang. I passed a late model Shelby the other day with the exact same hood.

Upon inspecting the hood, I noticed several paint blimishes on the underside of the hood. However, the outerside appeared very nice. The chrome strip is starting to come loose that was properly installed with the two sided tape. There is surface rust already starting to develop on the hood latch after one week of use. Also, after one week of use, the paint on the outside of the hood is starting to chip in various places. Overall, I'm not very happy with the hood at this point.

This hood made all the difference in the world in the uniqueness; it is absolutely great. I was quite concerned with the "No Return" policy, and it took me quite a while to finally make the decision to purchase. I had some great guys at Ford prepare and install the hood. They were great and really surpised me with a very reasonable charge. I wish I could send you a picture. This hood with the Putco spider web grill inserts really compliment each other. Every 78-year old kid needs a souped-up 2005 Ford F250. Thank the manufacturer. Great Job

Paint matched perfect. Need 2 to 3 people to install. Turns heads all the time--Ram air is hooked up as well.

I was shopping around for awhile for a hood for my truck. it came down to APM and another company. The other company was cheaper but..... 8 weeks for delivery, unknown the cost of the delivery, terrible customer service. I could only order by phone 3 days a week. They would not answer the phone except during those times. Auto anything was great! Took the order when it was convenient for me, the hood was there in a week! and it was cheaper than the manufacturer! Thanks! Scott

I love how this hood looks on my 2011 Ram 1500. It was very easy to install and is only slightly heavier than the factory hood. My only complaint is the fit of the hood towards the cab. There are large gaps (approx 1/4") on both sides between the hood and the fenders and the gap gets smaller towards the front. There is very little adjustment due to how close the front of the hood fits around the grill of the truck. Other than that it's great and looks good. I had mine come painted and it matches perfectly.

This is the best thing I have bought for Dodge Ram yet. You have to get the optional air box for it to work like you want it. My truck sounds louder and it gets up and goes faster. Also I went from doing 18mpg @ 60 to 21.5mpg average!!!! The price is a bit steep but I think its worth it. You will have heads turning to look at it.

After several hours and days researching new Hoods for my 07 RAM1500. It came down to total reliability and performance gains. After reviewing many people complain about the RAM-SRT10 Hood and how many people praised the APM RAMAIR hood. I did some further research and decided it would be better for me in performance and with a solid paint job would enhance the ascetics of the RAMAIR hood. So far I love my new hood and cant wait to have it finally painted.
