No more hood jump. No more broken "cheap factory" hood latches. Best $100.00 I've ever spent on my Jeep. Thanks!

Installation and adjustment were very simple. Although these catches are manufactured from heavy gauge aluminum with steel pins, the latching mechanism is made out of plastic. This lowered my opinion of the catches since the catches are under constant vibration and normally in direct sunlight. I'm concerned the plastic latch will wear out or break in a short amount of time. The catch will be useless once the latch breaks.
