Purchased ceramic brakes due to brake dust from factory pads. Now I have light gray dust in a lesser amount and wheels look cleaner. The real benefit is the way they operate. Smooth and feel great with greater stopping power. These brakes are terrific

Great brand and a great product. The first pair I bought lasted roughly 30,000 miles and even then it looked like they still had some meat on them. The reason I had to change them is because they started squeaking pretty bad from the metal piece meant to alert you. I went ahead and got a new pair but if you needed them to last longer you could always file that piece down, not that I recommend it.
Stop means stop! There is no gray area when it comes to braking. You go fast, and you want to stop fast. That’s why finding the best brake pads on the market is such an important decision. With a bird of prey’s eye for stopping, Hawk brake pads give you the control you need--when you need it most.
Cleaning the brakes on your car, truck or SUV isn’t always a simple task. But, if you want to ensure the best performance from your braking system, you’ll want to follow these steps to give your brakes the care and maintenance they need.
Installing brake pads and making them last isn’t as simple as slapping on a new set and going on your merry way. Incorrect brake-in procedures transforms hard-earned money into worthless piles of brake dust or worse. Sadly, an extremely important step is often overlooked: the brake pad bed-in process.
