Skyjacker Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines Reviews

Great product and easy to install

Reviewed By Daniel B (Brinnon, WA) Reviewed for a 1987 Ford F-350 —2/13/2018 7:55 AM

I bought these and didn't know what to expect. As soon as I opened the package it was obvious that this was money well spent. Swivel fittings and separate blocks make this easy to install. The only thing that concerns me is that the bore for the banjo bolt in each small block provided is a bit wider than its stock counterpart and care needs to be taken when installing and torquing this so that there is no leaking of brake fluid past the copper washers. Overall I am very pleased with this product

NOT GOODRIDGE G-STOP TO BLAME.............FRONT HOSE YOUR LIL SISTER COULD INSTALL, JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE RETAINING CLIPS SHOULD YOU SCREW ONE UP, GO TO NAPA AUTO PARTS, THEY HAVE THEN IN STOCK. REAR BEST TO REMOVE BRACKET PUT IN VICE DRILL OUT WITH A STEP DOWN BIT......SAVE ALOT OF TIME AND KEEP YOU FROM KICKED YOUR DOG..........REALLY, TOYOTA DID A VERY POOR JOB OF STAMPING OR PUNCHING OUT HOLE FOR FITTING.....DRILL THE SOB MAKE INSTALL EASY. How To Install Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Anytime you’re doing a brake job, it’s recommended that you swap out more than the brake pads. Often times the rotors need replacing, or at least resurfacing, and other components can show wear and tear, too. And though brake lines rarely need replacement during routine maintenance, upgrading to a set of stainless steel brake lines is highly recommended. After all, you’re down there anyway. And, though you may think a brake line is a brake line is a brake line, nothing adds a serious dose of pedal punch like a set of performance brake lines.
