Description

The original performance rotor is still king of the road. Power Slot Slotted Rotors dominate both stock rotors and the flood of foreign knock-off pretenders to the throne with superior design and hearty materials.

The proof is in the process used to make Power Slot Slotted Rotors. Only the best castings from top foundries are used in Power Slot Rotors, which are held to tight control standards that ensure quality. And, Power Slot Slotted Rotors are topped by a military-grade cadmium coating that lasts 60% longer than inferior zinc coats.

The vented design of Power Slot Slotted Rotors keeps your brakes cooler, which saves pad life and improves stopping time. Plus, moisture stays clear of the rotor surface for better bad weather braking.

Unleash some extra stopping power from your vehicle! Your Power Slot Slotted Rotors carry a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty.

Notes

  • Unfortunately, Power Slot products cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. Please provide us with a street address during checkout for delivery.
  • Rotors should always be replaced in pairs (front or back). Replacing a single rotor leads to uneven pad wear, steering pull, and ultimately, costly damage. Single rotor replacement is highly discouraged.

Posted on 09/13/2006 by Syed H. - 1996 Nissan Maxima (Wheeling,IL)

"I bought these rotors to replace the original stock ones that were old and warped. I have only used them for about 400 miles after following the initial bedding procedure and they have resulted in a major improvement in braking efficiency. There is a slight breaking noise (not squeal) which is not annoying. The real test would be after using them for 5-6 months when they are properly bedded and gone through a harsh and salty Chicago winter."

Quality

Posted on 09/05/2006 by Les M. - 2004 Infiniti FX35 (Acworth,GA)

"Power Slot rotors burnished easily, bedded in ceramic pads smoothly in around 100 miles. At 250 miles the rotors are mirror smooth with consistent, uniform performance. I expect to see long life from these rotors, which is saying something considering the FX Infinity's penchant for destroying factory rotors."

Impressive braking

Posted on 07/10/2006 by Brad L. - 2001 Ford F150 (Andover,MN)

"I have used other rotors on other vehicles. However, I had just purchase my 2001 Ford F150 Super Crew a few months ago and realized it needed brakes soon after. I purchased Power Slot Rotors hoping that braking would improve a little. It improved a lot. I feel much more confident while towing."

Good product

Posted on 07/07/2006 by Robert H. - 2004 Ford F-150 (Ware,MA)

"Ordered Hawk pads as well, received 2 sets of front. Had to go to local Advance Auto and buy a set of rears. Rotors were perfect fit though and easy to install. Except for old rears. Had to bang on them for a while to losen them from e brake shoes. I give the product 4 starts for the apparent quality and ease of install. I do recommend the break in process though. There was a marked difference in performance after I followed the break in instructions to seat the pads. The real test will be longevity and wear of the rotors. That's what will make them worth the cost."

Power Slot Rotors

Posted on 07/05/2006 by Derek B. - 2004 Dodge Ram (Brentwood,CA)

"I decided to replace the stock rotors on my 2004 Ram after only 23K miles because of the warping issues that seem to plague Dodge trucks. I was getting a lot of shuddering while braking and I knew it was time to upgrade. Had my local Midas install the rotors and Hawk pads and I'm back to smooth braking again. With the upgrade in quality I shouldn't have to worry for at least 40K miles. The Power Slot Rotors seem like a quality product. I've already noticed less brake dust as well. I would recommend this combo to anyone looking to upgrade from stock."

Nice and smooth and no noise

Posted on 06/20/2006 by Peter H. - 2004 Ford Focus (Santa Maria,CA)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"I enjoyed putting these rotors on my Ford Focus. I found that my stock rotors had grooves all over and the left side inner pad was completely worn. They ride smooth with absolutely no noise. I broke them in as per spec and noticed that they improve my stopping. However, my brake system is still a Ford system. The pedal feel is the same; the main difference is that these rotors and the Hawk pads allow for more certain gripping power. That becomes evident as I press harder; I should say that hard braking is enjoyable. Regular braking shows the benefits of upgrading in a more subtle way."

Great rotors

Posted on 06/15/2006 by Jacek L. - 2002 Saturn SL-2 (Chicago,IL)

"I bought these Power Slot Rotors to replace my factory ones which were fading and wearing out. Once I got past the break in period, I could tell the difference. These rotors help me make faster, shorter stops and I feel the pads gripping better with no slipping. On top of that they look much better than the rusted ones I had before. Great product."
