    Description

The original performance rotor is still king of the road. Dominating stock replacement rotors and the flood of foreign knock-offs, StopTech Slotted Rotors are the perfect way to get superior, reliable braking for your daily driving activities.

The proof is in the process used to make StopTech Slotted Rotors. Only the best castings from top foundries are used in StopTech Rotors, which are held to tight control standards that ensure quality. And, StopTech Slotted Rotors are topped by a protective black e-coating on the hats and edges.

The vented design of StopTech Slotted Rotors keeps your brakes cooler, to extend pad life and improves stopping time. Plus, moisture stays clear of the rotor surface for better bad-weather braking.

Our 370+ StopTech Slotted Rotors customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

I have installed them on my toyota Camry, and can't say much about the looks (since I have wheel covers), but the braking is much better with no vibration. The mechanic was very impressed with apparent quality of the rotors. Time will tell how they last.

Why are the Power Slot rotors better than normal rotors? Do the slots have a purpose?

    Answers (1)

    Staff Answer

    Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 23, 2012 5:34 PM

Hello Lonnie. The quality of material and construction of the power slot rotors helps prevent extreme heat from causing damage to the rotor and they tend to hold up better. The slots have added benefits of helping pull debris and gasses released by hot brake pads away from between the pad and rotor allowing the pad to get a good grip on the rotor. It also helps shed water in rainy conditions. Thank you for your questions.

If your car is primarily a daily driver, I would recommend the Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads. They will give your car long lasting and quiet performance.
