"Great price; easy to install; and excellent performance.
I got 102,000 out of my stock rotors - not bad considering the Tundra's reputation with the front brakes.
I installed the cryo rotors and Hawk Superduty brake pads and love the performance."

"2000 F350 SC Lariat SRW 4x4 Auto 4:30
Rotors and Pads arrived before expected, great service. Installation was straight forward, no problems.
Completed break-in and bed-in as instructed. Currently putting miles on brakes without towing. So far brakes seem better and no issues to date. Real test will be when towing heavy fifth wheel. Must wait for weather to improve for final opinion.
Overall this seems to be a good investment and will consider doing rear brakes as well.

"I drive a 2002 sport trac. I paid a shop $650 to do my first brake job at around 50K miles. They did a terrible job that resulted in loose/missing caliper bolts, warped rotors and they never changed the brake fluid. The rotors were trashed after 18K miles, but the pads looked nearly new.
This time I did it myself with good parts, properly torqued and loctited bolts and brake fluid replacement. I used the Hawk Ceramic pads with the Cryo Power Slots and Penzoil D0T3. I can feel a difference in the pedal. Braking starts at the first touch of the pedal and I am able to trip the ABS on dry pavement when stomping on it. There is no brake squeal from these pads. I think new fluid contributed a lot to the feel in the pedal. The rotor and pads seem to be an improvement during panic stops. Time will tell if these rotors last."

"Took to long to get these special rotors from manufacture, 4 weeks, but autoanything is a great supplier.
Kept me informed on order status.
Installed these rotors with green brake pads, and feel that they are a improvement over stock rotors. However have not had to power test them as of yet. However Pulled 20 trailer 750 miles."

"Only have had these on for about a week and so far I'm very satisfied. Your first few stops with these (have the Hawk performance pads also) will be noisy and not stop as well as you would think, but as the pads bedded in the noise went away and they stopped much better than my stock setup. They also stopped just as well in wet weather as they do in dry. Would like to have done a review after 50K to comment on wear, as that would determine value of these over OEM setup."

"My 02 supercharged Nissan Xterra needed a serious brake job-although new brake pads from a local autoparts store were installed just last year, the excessive heat and Vegas city driving caused serious rotor warping. After carefully researching both the local auto parts stores and stores online, I decided on the Cryo Power slot rotors and Hawk pads for the price and high-performance from Autoanything. It was my first time ordering from them and their customer service over the phone was very helpful. They work great! Smooth braking, no squeaking- just the loving my Xterra needed! I added a K&N Air Intake later and the car is a whole new beast!"

"I deliver the mail and stop over 500 times a day five days a week. These rotors have not warped yet and typically the standard rotors are warped already. I've only had them installed and in use for three weeks but so far with all the heavy "stop and go" and the dirt associated with off road mail delivery they seem to be holding up better than any other rotor I have used. The price of this rotor is on the high side considering I buy the standard rotor for $25 but if they last longer they might be well worth the price I paid."

"I only have about 50 miles on them so far. My car already stops better, but I haven't had to do an "oh S***" stop yet. That will be the true test. Directions say to break them in with slow breaking for a min. of 20 miles to make sure everything seats right, so that is what I'm doing."

"My 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP with 34,000 miles has had the front rotors replaced by the dealer twice and cut twice. I was getting severe vibration braking at highway speeds. These rotors feel solid on braking. At slow braking I get some vibration but at highway it's perfect.
Strongly recommend this over stock rotors."

"I purchased the Power Slot Cryo Rotors to attempt to correct the vehicle's tendency to warp rotors which causes pulsation in the brake pedal. Also purchased Hawk ferro-carbon pads instead of the ceramic pads that are standard. I have a few hundred miles on it so far and I am caustiously optimistic."

"I just received these rotors and installed them on my 03 F150. I only have 300 miles on these, but I installed a set on my 99 Explorer to end the constant warping of "replacement" rotors from the local parts store. I have 6500 miles on the Cryo Rotors and they are perfect. With the Hawk LTS brake pads I have no noise, no dust and a very noticable decrease in stopping distances. I expect to have the same performance on my pick up truck."

Power Slot Cryo Rotors on a 1984 VW Vanagon (2WD)
Posted on 11/09/2007 by Raymond H. (Waldorf,MD)
4 of 7 people found the following review helpful.
"Cryo Rotors were placed on a 84 Vanagon teamed up with stock calipers and Hawk Performance pads. [Vehicle has Discs on front & Drums on rear]. Excellent low speed braking [after a 50 mile break in period]. Smooth & positive stopping power during wet road conditions. Fare better than stock rotors. Quality machined parts made the install easy. Silver finish is attractive but if fades away fast where the pad contacts the rotor surface. Unless you have custom rims you can't see the rest of the rotors. P.S. don't be frightened by the silvery metal shavings that come off the disc during the break in period; this is normal. Each rotor is inked marked with a simple "R" or "L" which I am sure will quickly wear off by the time you need them turned. So, remember what side of the car you take them off of. Overall, they are great! R. from Washington, DC."
