"Brakes made a huge difference in terms of brake sensitivity and stopping power. I would rebuy in a instant. There is some minor noise.. but thats to be expected with its type of performance."

"I bought these for my daughter's Infinit FX35 because the new pads Infiniti had installed squealed so loudly that everyone turned to see what was making such a screeching noise. She was thoroughly embarrassed. The dealership said there was nothing mechanically wrong with the brakes so they would not help her. So far, the Hawk brakes are very quiet. I am thinking of installing a set on my own car."

"I really like my brakes. Compared to my stock pads they are a lot more fade resistant and thats what i was going for. Brake dust although is a little more than i expected. All together though they are a good buy."

"2000 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA GLS 1.8T
well i think these brake pads are really great.they are really amazing. i use them as a daily driver, but every now and then i have to brake pretty hard. these break pads do what they are supposed to do, stop the car. i really recommend these and autoanything did a great job with my order. i got them 5days after placing the order and that's including sat and sun. although they are a bit more expensive here, they do offer free delivery. which is sweet!!!"

"This is the second set of Hawk HPS front brake pads which I've used on my 2006 Cadillac DTS. Performance of the first set was excellent in all respects. Pads were about 2/3 worn after 26,000 miles. Rotors were replaced at 61,000 miles with the second set of Hawk pads. After 2,000 miles, performance is excellent (no noise, good effectiveness level, no noticeable fade, no effectiveness loss wet). My driving is "spirited"."

"I have had them on the truck about two weeks now with no problems. I replaced the rotors and pads at the same time and the installation was fine no hangups with the install. The pads grip really well and don't squeek or leave any brake dust that I can tell yet. The one thing I noticed is the very second it comes to a complete stop I get a moan from them. It could be the new combination of rotors and pads and I am hoping that it is just break in. Otherwise performance from the pads has been great."

"I've replaced the stock Nissan pads at all 4 wheels with Hawk HPS. The brake dust is considerably reduced, although there is less initial "bite".
I followed the bed-in procedure on the box with good results. The brakes have remained quite and work well without replacing the stock rotors."

"After waiting for four days for Auto Anything to approve a Paypal Payment. (Whats up with that?) The pads shipped and arrived the next day. Thats a full week waiting on jack stands. I got these because of problems with Quiet Stop plus ceramic pads, that build up gum on the rotors which wobble, overheat and crack. Now giving these Hawk ferro-carbon pads the test of time. So far I am impressed."

"2002 Toyota Tacoma 4DR V6 TRD Prerunner 80,000 miles. This brakes are much better than anything else I had before. Even better than when it was new. They are better than OEM or any aftermarket I had before. I installed this pads with Brembo Sport slotted rotors. My son says the truck now purs when it stops. The truck makes a little purring noise when stopping hard but it is more likely due to the slots on the rotors. I will definetely buy them again and recommend to anyone."

"Second set of these for my Infiniti G35. The OEM pads squealed and had tons of dust. Thest have no dust, seem to be gentle on rotors and last 2-3x as long as the OEM ones do. Expensive compared to OEM but well worth it in noise reduction, dust reduction and break distance improvement. You won't be disappointed for more aggressive cars like the G35."

Hawk Pads worth the price?

"This is my second set of Hawk Pads.
I work for a large Tier One full system brake supplier to the OEM companies. I have worked on many prototype vehicle tuning brake systems.
For the money, and an off the shelf part, the Hawk brake pads are hard to beat. Better intitial bite and they stay solid throughout increase in input force. Much better feedback through the brake pedal.
They only last about 80% as long as the OEM pads, but the increase in brake performance is worth it.
They may squeak a little on the first couple of applications cold or wet. That is just part of having a high performance pad. Kind of like when your ABS system cycles when first starting to drive your car. Some people don't like the noise. I like to know they are working.
Are they worth the price? They are to me."
