"I put these on my Volvo to relace the factory rear pads and noticed a marked improvement once they broke in. I want to put them on the front too. Pads don't come with shims so expect to add them."

Good pads, but still dusty

"OEM pads were still working ok, but I got tired of all the dust. Hawk advertises themselves as premium pads w/o dust. So I paid a little more to get them vs cheaper easier-to-find ones, primarily so my wheels wouldn't need cleaning as often. Installed Brembo slotted and drilled rotors at the same time. Combo works well together, stops fine, no squeal or noise, but still dust up the wheels. Maybe not quite as bad as OEM pads, but still pretty dusty. I am a reasonably conservative driver (gentle starts and stops) and use my P11 G20 fairly easily as a commuter car."

Hawks

"The factory brake pads on my 350Z left huge amounts of brake dust on my rims just days after washing them, but after switching to Hawks, the dust has cut down tremendously. Very pleased"

"Under normal braking the first few days, I was stopping about 5 feet before I would have normaly had stopped at intersections ect. Other pads used were Ford stock pads and Raybestose(which squeaked)."

"I installed these pads on stock rotors that were bad, (for the time being) and the difference between those and the ceramic pads that i bought at carquest was night and day, i dont think i will buy any other type of pad, cant wait to install my rotors, will stop on less than a dime!"

Hawk HPS Pads on a 98 Tacoma Prerunner

"Installation was simple on the Tacoma. Fit and finish of the Hawk Pads is excellent. Break in consisted of (6) 30-0mph stops and then (3) 45-0mph hard stops. These pads are amazing when it comes to pedal pressure, responsive braking, and of course braking distance. Well worth the money."

"Being an automotive technician, I have replaced and used many OE break pads on my 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I noticed that the Hawk break pads produced quicker and much smoother deceleration over the OE pads and did not produce as much break dust. As I have painted my calipers racing red, less break dust means less cleaning of the calipers and more time to drive and enjoy my vehicle."
