Description

The HPS in Hawk HPS Brake Pads stands for high-performance street—top braking power for virtually any vehicle on the road. They’re the fusion of Hawk’s aerospace experience and high-end braking technology that exceeds all other performance brake pads on the market today.

Behind the extreme stopping power of Hawk HPS Brake Pads is their unique ferro-carbon compound material. This exclusive composite makes Hawk HPS Brake Pads 20-40% more powerful than standard pad replacements with less friction. It’s why Hawk Brake Pads have a higher resistance to brake fade, giving you more control when it matters most.

An ideal companion to performance rotors, Hawk HPS Brake Pads fit into your calipers just like a standard replacement—no extra hassles. They last longer and are easier on your rotors, too. Hawk HPS Brake Pads are also virtually noise-free for your comfort.

Start braking with authority today! Your Hawk HPS Brake Pads boast a Lifetime Warranty.

"Just upgraded my 2002 Acura MDX to Hawk HPS pads. Installation was straight-forward, and took about 2 hrs for all 4 wheels. After bedding the pads I'd say there was a noticeable difference in the car's braking. In particular, the Hawk pads have much better initial bite and continue to grip progressively with pedal input. They convey a real increase in confidence in the braking of this 4300lb vehicle. Recommended."

"I bought some Hawk HPS brake pads for my car even though my cars oem brake pads were still good because i needed the extra stopping power. After some modifications my car needed faster braking. Of course the noise is so much less if any at all sometimes, and you dont have to wait for them to get warm. These brake pads are far some of the best pads i have ever used on a car."

"I had these pads in for about two weeks and did not notice any difference from the stock pads. After one night of hard braking the pads squealed and screeched and braking dimished slightly. The installation was tough because there was a bump on one of the pads that had to be ground down so the pad could fit. Going to try EBC pads next."

"The brakes were noisy after driving on them for about 20 miles each day. However, It seems the noise does not occur anymore after driving on these brakes for about 2 months now. The dust has been reduced compared to the stock pads and the braking is probably about the same as the stock brembo pads. Overall, I would buy them again but I would also consider greenstuff if they are available."

"I think I had high expectations and was prepared for a greater improvement from the OEM pads that were replace, but the new pads still work well. There must be other issues with the trucks braking system that keep it from being as good as new. The pads are easy to install since the "shims" and such are attached to the pads."

"I bought these pads over the "greenstuff" pads. I was looking for serious initial bite, but when they are cold they have slightly better than OE stopping power-slightly. However, when they have warmed up, there is a non-linear gripping ability when you get past "lightly" braking-a nice "there is the PERFORMANCE". They are good pads, they dont dust as much as OE and are quieter too. Though, the people at Mavis who put them in botched the job I should've and could've done myself. So, there were initial issues-some of which i'm still trying to see whether they bear future gremlins."

"I had read reviews of these pads and most agree that the stopping ability outweighs the noise issue. I am hoping mine are getting better. There was a slight squeek at low speeds when I first put them on. Now it is sporatic after a week or so. Seems more often when they are hot. A good pad for the money, but they really should be able to solve the noise problem. Then halk would have a flawless pad! I will be listening to my breaks for a while..."

"I bought these for my daughter's Infinit FX35 because the new pads Infiniti had installed squealed so loudly that everyone turned to see what was making such a screeching noise. She was thoroughly embarrassed. The dealership said there was nothing mechanically wrong with the brakes so they would not help her. So far, the Hawk brakes are very quiet. I am thinking of installing a set on my own car."
