"Hawk has always been raved about by all auto enthusiasts. I picked up a set of their hp Plus pads a year ago for a track day and was sold for life. Hawk makes a great pad and the hps is great for light track time to heavy duty street and auto x punishment. Low dust, low noise, and great bite, in cold and hot weather."

"If anyone is familiar with this car, they come with the huge Brembo brakes that dust like crazy. The factory pads also wore down pretty quickly so it was time to replace. I did my research and my car is a daily driver so I didn't need a pad that will see track time.
THESE PADS ARE AWESOME!!! Of course a harder track pad should be used if I race the thing but I don't. ALSO... I washed my car a little over two weeks ago since I changed pads and they have VERY little brake-dust. As appose to the factory ones showing dust in literally a day or two. I mean to the point where my silver BBS wheels looked gun-metal in color.
I would HIGHLY recomend these.
Darren"

"Whoever made these pads sure did their research. The pad makes sure to cover a maximum rotor surface area, and doesn't taper on the edges like stock pads. The break-in time after bedding-in the pad is very minimal, and I am yet to notice any squeal whatsoever. Brake fade is minimal to nonexsistant. Most importantly, my car stops so fast your stomach flies out the windshield. I would recommend these to anyone that requires enhanced braking power on a street car. Although these can be used on the track, I don't suggest it. If you are looking for a track pad, then go with ceramic pads that will never fade. All in all, Hawk Performance has won a customer for life!"

"Have these installed on my brother's 97 nissan maxima. I have read through number of thread about these pads and decided to pair them up with blank Brembo rotors. Low in dust and noise. Provide nice stopping power over OE parts. Deff. in for a next set. However, I will have to wait for quite a while."

The Better Aggressive Daily Driver Brake Pad

"I have Hawk HPS brake pads now on all my daily drivers..a 450 HP Evo8 and a turbocharged Ford ZX2. The pad's initial bite when cold is similar to stock but thereafter the increase in stopping power is on tap.
The Hawks are extremely easy on my rotors and brake noise level, at least for me, has been nonexistent. Pads come with chamfered edges, unlike some of the competition."

"The Hawk HPS Brake Pads are the best choice in my opinion. They went on easy, with no problems at all. There was a noticeable increase in stopping power, but no excessive braking noise at all. I would definitely recommend these pads for anybody looking for a little more braking performance, but while still retaining the stock sound and feel."

"I put these pads on my g35 and I must say, these pads grip as good if not better than my already good oem brakes. But without all of the brake dust! One thing you need to do is follow the burnishing instructions on the box!! you are just asking for squealing brakes if you don't. I followed the instructions and have NO brake noise. thanks!"

"I installed these on my 02 Ranger in conjunction with Brembo slotted rotors. Once bedded in the pads performed well, especially during high speed stops. The only thing is the carbon compound they are made of seems to be too soft. Even though they only have a few hundred miles on them. I noticed they seem to be wearing down quicker than the stock ones after I pulled them to inspect the wear. That's why I only gave 4 stars."
