"I must say I have gone through multiple pads from EBC greenstuff to axxis ultimate's. I loved the axxis ultimate's but I decided to get the HPS pads since they were on sale. I must say I like they way they brake. They have a good initial cold bite even in 12 degree weather but the one thing I was surprised is that the harder you break the faster you stop. They have good trail braking characteristics so I have greater control going through the turns. These are matched with Power Slot rotors and stainless steel brake lines. On;y down fall is that they are dusty but I might buy them again. My axxis ultimate's were not as dusty."

"I used the HPS pads with crossdrilled and slotted rotors. MY feelings are they are outstanding I had to relearn the car again because it was stopping so good. With minimal brake dust as well. Well pleased will buy Hawk pads for anyother car I own."

Better than The OEM by Far

"I have had the Hawk pads for about 2 weeks and they have performed splendidly. The braking is smooth yet effective, wether coming from high speeds or even short stops I feel very confident as there is no shaking or noise. Best of all not mush dust on my rims. So far very impressed. I am very pleased with my purchase."

"At 60k miles, the factory Honda brake pads had a lot of material left on them, but they were cracked. The rotors also had hot spots on them. Since there are no service bulletins for my specific VIN, warranty would not cover. Going back with stock parts made little sense. I put the Hawk pads on in conjunction with new slotted rotors. I didn't really expect problems, and there were none. I have not heard any squeaking, and the brake judder of the OEM setup is now gone. The stopping action actually feels better now that I have put a few hundred miles on them. Feels smoother."

"I replaced the stock pads with these. They have a better pedal feel and stop better than the stock pads. I tracked the car (9 turn road course) one time with these pads and had no brake fade at all, even slowing down from over 100mph multiple times. They perform well in the rain and snow and have not caused the rotors warp. I don't track the car too often and feel these are the best pads for the street and an occasional track day. The cost is within $10 of replacing them with the OEM pads from Subaru and they perform much better. I will use these pads for the duration of ownership on my car."
