Description

What do The Fonz and Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors have in common? Both understand the importance of stayin' cool. Arthur Fonzarelli gets his cool from his leather jacket, his trademark double-hitchhiker thumbs up and his devil-may-care attitude. For the Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors, their coolness comes from the custom-patterned holes.

Your Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors work a lot like a fan. As they spin, the holes in the rotors move air out from the center, across the surface and off the edge. This constant airflow reduces surface temperatures, prevents hot spots and wards off warpage. Plus, the holes greatly improve out-gassing and wet weather braking.

Like our Happy Day's hero, the Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors are cool on the outside as well as the inside. Their aggressive styling and smoking gold zinc dichromate coating add daredevil looks to your car, truck or SUV. And, they're custom-built on CNC mills for an OEM fit without caliper modifications. 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.

On roads that frequently include hills and mountains we have had trouble with dangerously warped brake disks. Overheating occured when desending long hills slower than normal because of slow traffic or weather conditions. Our rotors never wore out, they had to be turned to make them true so often that their useful life was limited. These Power Stop Cross drilled rotors seem to stay true on long descents. The product cost is lower than original equipment replacement disks (undrilled) from the car manufacturer. We're glad we tryed them, we'll be installing the same kind on our other vehicle.

Have had them on for almost a week, so far so good. Decided to go with the cross-drilled because the normal blank rotors I had to replace or get turned due to warping every 9-10 months on 5,000 to 6,000 miles. From what I understand, less chance of these cross-drilled rotors to warp which will be nice. The gold zinc finish does burnish off when applying them to the brake pads, so it makes a more silver-gray surface where the pads slide but I kind of expected that. I've been having too much fun pressing hard on my brakes just to see how quickly I can stop, my stopping distance was seriously cut in half on my 98 Silverado. I paired these rotors with Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads, so hopefully warping is a thing of the past!

Very good rotors. Easy to install. Very very strong braking. Only slightly more expensive than best available rotors from any parts store and a much better product. I was sick of cheap rotors warping and rusting, so decided these would help eliminate both problems. So far they are still smooth and rust free.

I have only a few hundred miles on these rotors so far, but they seem good. Most rotors in the past have only lasted 6 months. If these hold up and don't rust up in our Northeastern winters, I will be happy!

These rotors fit well and certainly look nice. So far, I have driven a little under 1000 miles and with the EBC red brakes have been fairly impressed with the stopping power. Definitely can feel the difference from the old rotor/pad set from the local retailer. I would recommend these to anyone.

I own a 05' Nissan Armada with 22" wheels. Armadas are known for having front brake issues (warping rotors, shuttering). After many attempts to fix the issues, I decided to replace the OEM rotors with a set of the Power Stop drilled rotors and PosiQuiet pads. After 6k miles, these rotors and pads took care of the problem completely. I'd recommend this setup to anyone who's having issues with their brakes.

Install these rotors with Hawk HPS pads. The rotors look great. I have only driven less than 1000 miles. So far, performance is on par with the OEMs but these rotors cost less and aesthetically better than OEMs. I am happy with them.
