Description

What do The Fonz and Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors have in common? Both understand the importance of stayin' cool. Arthur Fonzarelli gets his cool from his leather jacket, his trademark double-hitchhiker thumbs up and his devil-may-care attitude. For the Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors, their coolness comes from the custom-patterned holes.

Your Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors work a lot like a fan. As they spin, the holes in the rotors move air out from the center, across the surface and off the edge. This constant airflow reduces surface temperatures, prevents hot spots and wards off warpage. Plus, the holes greatly improve out-gassing and wet weather braking.

Like our Happy Day's hero, the Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors are cool on the outside as well as the inside. Their aggressive styling and smoking gold zinc dichromate coating add daredevil looks to your car, truck or SUV. And, they're custom-built on CNC mills for an OEM fit without caliper modifications. 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.

"This is my second pair of Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors. i installed the first pair on my 92 Integra and now I have them on my 02 Corolla S. I am very pleased with the quality and durability of these rotors, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a brake upgrade. (Just remember to buy upgraded pads as well for the best performance!)"

"Chrysler puts composite rotors on these rigs. They are junk, and do not last. Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors is the fix. I have used these years ago when they were called 911. These rotors cured the problem, and look good doing it. The factory rotors will warp at about 17,000 miles. Chrysler knows they have a on going problem with the composite rotors for years now,on these Jeep SUVs,and they refuse to fix them RIGHT. Not everyone is a mechanic by trade. I feel sorry for the rest of the people out there that will have to play "Brake Games" with these vehicles. Fix them right, and they will stay fixed, and stop great! John"

"I purchased all four rotors and brake pads for my 2005 Neon SXT from AutoAnything. They were very easy to install and after the initial breakin period, they make no noise and stop just fine. Although I can't honestly say they stop any better then the stock parts, they are totally quiet. And that was one of the reasons I bought them in the first place. After letting my car sit throughout the entire last winter,2006-2007. The stock parts were making some terrible grinding noise and I thought it would go away on it's own. But it never did. The stock parts still worked just fine, except for the noise. It was louder then any grinding sound I have ever heard from disk brakes. But now the car stops without a sound and stops just as good as the stock parts. I must say the stock parts worked a lot better then I expected. The car stopped very fast."

"They are great such a difference from my old rotors. I had a friend install them and the powerstop brakes, it only took a couple hours and my baby was ready to go again. I followed the instructions for breaking them in and I haven't heard a peep from them since. THANKS!!!!!!!"

"So far these rotors have been great. I've been so tired of buying rotors of inferior quality only to have them warp shortly after installing them. I've driven these a couple thousand miles already and they are still true!"

They seem ok for not warping under stress.

Posted on 11/12/2007 by Gerald A. - 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo (Laveen,AZ)

"The rotors seem to be ok under stress from everyday driving; I paired mine up with Hawk HPS pads. Not totally satisfied with the breaking power that everyone talks about. But I’m glad that they haven’t heated up and warped the rotors like the factory ones did, and made the car feel unsafe to drive thay way."
