Description

Your towering truck or surly SUV rules the road. But, the big automakers may have shortchanged your rig on stopping power. Leave it to Hawk Performance and their all-new LTS Brake Pads to put plenty of braking bite back into your big dog.

Hawk LTS Brake Pads handle the heat generated by the your truck or SUV's big brakes. Unlike stock pads that are plagued by brake fade, Hawk LTS Brake Pads are specially designed to resist fade and provide consistent grip stop after stop. Hawk LTS Brake Pads can do this by dissipating heat better than any other severe duty pad.

While they're big on performance, Hawk LTS Brake Pads are small on two of your least favorite brake nuisances: dust and noise. In fact, Hawk LTS Brake Pads are extremely quiet for a performance pad and keep your wheels cleaner longer. Best yet, your Hawk LTS Brake Pads boast a Lifetime Warranty.

Notes

  • All Hawk Performance Brake Pads are burnished at the factory. However, for maximum performance, each Hawk Brake Pad should be bedded-in with your rotors (new or used). Bedding instructions are included with the pads.

"I just put them on a week ago and thus far I am very pleased. I get strong, quick and silent stops. I got a full set, front and rear, but I only needed to replace the rears for now. I put back the set for the front, but it looks like it will be another 20,000 miles before I need to replace the front pads. I put this on a 2004 Chevy Avalance 4X4. I really like these pads. They are beefy and strong."

"I had the front stock roters replaced on my 1995 Ford Ranger with the slotted type. The new Hawk pads were also installed. After the break-in period, the brakes are running true. The vehicle stops with authority and I have not noticed any brake fade. Brake "feel" is much improved over the stock brakes."

"Excellent quality brakes. Replaced stock pads on a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 1500. Stops better than stock pads. No brake fade. No noise. Less brake dust. Expensive compared to standard autoparts store brands. Stocks lasted 57,000 miles. Considering these should last longer than stock, they are well worth the money."

"They went in just fine, except for the fiddly pieces from the old pads which require four hands to hold everything together as the new pads are inserted into the calipers. After bedding per instructions (except I didn't sand and wash the disks), the gripping power is satisfactory. I used standard cushioning fluid. There is no noise, so I'm happy."

"The front brakes on my 1996 4runner I feel or well undersized by Toyota for what the vechile was intended for towing, etc. I put these pads on with a new set of rotors (cheap ones cuz they also warp) and follow the brake in prodcure Hawk provide. Well I have about 500 miles on the pads and since they frist test drive after I installed them the stopping power of my 4runner has incressed significatly. I am more confident when towing now and would buy these again. SUV and Truck owners THIS is the compound used in the pads is for SUV and trucks. Well worth the extra money."
